All the research programs of the Mata Tohora association respond to an ethic of animal welfare, Odyssey for Life is obviously no exception to this rule.

To guarantee this, an ethics and veterinary committee dedicated to this project was therefore created.

Its main mission relates to the ethical review of the research program in the form of reflection, advice, awareness and, if necessary, alert.

It is dedicated to examining all ethical questions likely to be raised by our activity and our research methods in the areas of monitoring and health assessment of the cetaceans studied during the expedition.

This committee is made up of veterinarians, researchers, fishermen and whale-watchers.
